Therapeutic Specialist
Responsibilities
- Accountable for achieving/exceeding District Pod sales, Multi‑Channel Customer Plan execution and KPI results through customer engagement and delivery of outstanding customer value.
- Engage with customers and assigned accounts across various healthcare professionals, applying product knowledge and customizing approaches to create value, drive impact, and maximize patient reach.
- Orchestrate customer‑centric engagements with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders within the assigned geography.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners within and across districts, fostering teamwork, change, and a culture of performance.
- Identify, develop, and engage external experts to build strategic partnerships; manage programs and budgets, and provide appropriate speakers for OLAs, CMEs, and conferences.
This position is field‑based; employees must be located in the area/region where their role is based to remain close to customers.
Requirements- University degree, preferably in Health Sciences or Business Administration.
- Minimum two years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar sales environment;
Cardio‑Metabolic area experience preferred. - Excellent medical/product knowledge, customer engagement, and selling skills with a focus on exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ability to leverage all resources and channels—face‑to‑face and digital—to create seamless customer experiences.
- Exceptional communication, growth mindset, collaboration, teamwork, customer engagement and presentation skills.
- Ability to transfer scientific and disease‑related knowledge to key customers and drive behavior change.
- Demonstrated agility, resilience, and adaptability to ever‑changing environments.
- Experience in developing speakers and external expert advocates.
- Strong customer planning and organization, analytical skills, and budget/resource management.
- Highly motivated to bring health to patients using BI products.
- Valid provincial driver’s license and ability to travel.

The salary range is from $84,000 to $134,000, with performance, experience and competency influencing compensation. An additional variable sales incentive target opportunity ranges from $18,260 to $27,278.
