Business Development Manager - Reverse Mortgage

Responsibilities

• Develop the reverse mortgage origination volume potential for assigned mortgage brokers across specific geographic areas.
• Prospect for new broker relationships and nurture existing ones to achieve origination targets.
• Engage brokers through non‑face‑to‑face communications and occasionally present at training sessions, industry events, and special events outside the office.
• Assist brokers in identifying deals that fit the bank’s addressable market and promote the bank’s value proposition to win business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to close acceptable deals and ensure compliance with credit guidelines.
• Maintain a positive, professional rapport with brokers to foster a highly competitive and dynamic market presence.
• Report directly to the Director of Residential Sales.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of broker networks, bank products, internal processes, and credit guidelines.

• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both internal and external sales teams.

• Commitment to providing exceptional service in a dynamic market.
