We are currently hiring full–time Management Development Program Trainees.

EMCO Corporation is a leading national wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products to the construction industry.

As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will build your own sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO.

• Phase 1 (12 months):
  Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with logistics and customer service, including order management, inventory, pricing and credit management.
• Phase 2 (12 months):
  Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage large‑scale projects, build relationships with customers and vendors, and learn to read blueprint drawings to create quotes for material requirements.
• Phase 3 (15‑18 months):
  Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development, find new opportunities, negotiate contracts, and expand the customer base.
• Phase 4 (3 months):
  Leadership and Operations – Provide a strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and run the business by developing leadership competencies and coaching.

• Base Salary – $52,500 + Profit Sharing

Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete training. Relocation assistance will be provided.

• University degree or college diploma – all disciplines of study will be considered
• Positive attitude and results‑oriented mindset
• Desire to continuously learn and grow
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Strong interest in sales
• Valid driver’s license
