Overview
We’re looking for a Major Account Executive to join our team. This role provides professional and ethical representation of Konica Minolta Business Solutions to the commercial industry in your territory. You will manage a list of named accounts, develop long‑term relationships, attain quarterly sales targets, and maintain commercial print revenue within the region.
Responsibilities- Maintain a prospect list of buyers for your designated territory or named accounts, focusing on closeable opportunities within the next 30 days, and identifying additional MFP decision‑makers such as print‑shop managers and IT managers.
- Track and nurture relationships with existing Konica Minolta customers, providing diligent follow‑up on all sales leads.
- Write clear and concise sales proposals and tender responses to position Konica Minolta as the benchmark technology for future account tenders and RFPs.
- Maintain comprehensive product and competitive knowledge, and conduct product demonstrations for all current products.
- Represent Konica Minolta ethically, ensuring all sale details are accurately recorded and understood by both parties to facilitate prompt processing.
- Maintain contact with current customers to identify potential upgrades and prepare semi‑annual account reviews.
- Keep the territory database of current and competitive accounts up‑to‑date for effective sales prospecting.
- Project a professional image through appropriate business attire.
- 5–7 years of B2B sales experience.
- Extensive B2B sales experience; prior industry knowledge is an asset.
- Strong grounding in PC and network concepts, with the ability to apply these skills to delivering printing solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Proven ability to sell complex solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills, confidently and aggressively seeking new business.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- University or college degree in business is an asset.
