Opal Hospitality Ltd. seeks a dynamic Area Director of Sales to develop and execute strategies for Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Airport and Sheraton Cavalier Calgary. You will oversee sales activities and ensure the achievement of revenue targets through effective team leadership. This role requires a strategic mindset along with strong hands-on skills in sales initiation and market analysis to foster growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shape and execute annual Sales & Marketing Plans
• Lead and coach Sales & Catering teams for peak performance
• Represent hotels at industry events and trade shows
• Identify growth opportunities to expand market share
• Support revenue management through forecasting and strategies
Requirements:
• 5 years sales & marketing experience with 3 years in leadership
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Expertise in digital marketing platforms
• Proven success in driving revenue growth
