Position: Territory Account Manager Southern Alberta - Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Vision

Territory Account Manager – Vision – (Contract – 12 months, Calgary & Southern Alberta)

We are searching for a talented Territory Account Manager to manage account relationships and drive sales of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses across the Calgary & Southern Alberta region.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to sell ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
  • Apply knowledge of the organization’s products, services and marketing campaigns to close sales and maintain customer relationships.
  • Uncover and understand customers’ strategic priorities, buying motives, end‑user needs, office processes, and business operations across segments while demonstrating ability to secure orders.
  • Learn the organization’s products, services and policies through sales training, studies, seminars, and field experience.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge, articulate added value, assist in inventory/control, keep customers abreast of supply and price trends, and maintain reports of all activities.
  • Provide scientific and economic product differentiation in a compliant manner while maintaining the sales program within the assigned territory.
  • Position products and economic solutions as the best option for customers and patients, delivering a competitive clinical and financial message tailored to meet unique needs.
  • Communicate effectively, utilize resources and tools to deliver a clear sales message, and execute pre‑call plans for all accounts to consistently change customer behavior.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of business‑to‑business and/or medical sales experience (or equivalent combination of sales and/or industry experience), or completed J&J Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP).
  • Valid driver’s license issued in Canada.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, competitive selling technique, business acumen, organizational skills and written & oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales applications and principles.
  • Residence in or proximity to the geography.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., sit at a desk for up to 2 hours, climb stairs, walk quickly between business interactions, and travel by car or airplane independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Combination of business‑to‑business and medical sales experience.
  • Documented sales awards and achievements, prior management development training or completion of major sales training courses.
