Position Summary  Sunset Alpine Promotional Products is looking for a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our team in Canmore. This is a customer-facing sales position responsible for helping customers find the right promotional products for their business, organization, event, or project.
The primary focus of the role is responding to incoming sales inquiries, assisting walk-in customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, preparing quotes, and converting opportunities into sales.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a natural ability to sell, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities   Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales inquiries by email, phone, and in person.
Welcome and assist walk-in customers at our Canmore location.
Understand customer needs, budgets, timelines, and intended use of products.
Recommend appropriate promotional products and decoration options.
Research products and work with suppliers to find suitable options when required.
Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for customers.
Follow up on quotes and customer inquiries to help convert opportunities into sales.
Close sales and ensure all required information is accurately captured before handing the order to Customer Service.
Develop strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
Identify opportunities to increase order value through product recommendations, additional items, or upgraded options.
Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the company’s operating system.
Communicate effectively with the Customer Service and Production teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to order fulfillment.
Stay current on promotional products, trends, pricing, and new product opportunities.
Perform other sales-related duties as required
Training   Be willing to travel occasionally for supplier and industry training
Continuously develop knowledge of promotional products, apparel, and decorating techniques
