Environmental Educators work as a part of a team to provide visitors to Bow Habitat Station with exceptional learning opportunities that foster conservation and stewardship of Alberta’s fish, water and ecosystems. You will lead the delivery of education programs and activities for all ages and abilities – from toddlers to seniors. This position collaborates with a larger front-line team and adheres to established programs, policies and procedures to ensure quality and consistency in program delivery.

Through these services, you will actively support BHS in fostering community and lifelong connections with Alberta’s environment.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Delivering indoor and outdoor environmental education programs and activities to schools, groups, and public of all ages and abilities.
  • Maintaining and repairing resources.
  • Collecting visitor feedback and data.
  • Supporting with the delivery of front-line services.
  • Assisting with other departmental duties as required.
