Position: Environmental Scientist Role in Alberta
Become an Environmental Scientist with Jacobs, focusing on environmental remediation services based out of Calgary or Edmonton. Assist in cleaning up communities through brownfield projects.

The preferred candidate will leverage their experience in environmental characterization to implement remediation strategies for industrial and governmental clients. This position offers opportunities for fieldwork and collaboration with top technical experts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field investigations and environmental assessments

• Manage the preparation of technical reports and models

• Perform environmental sampling across various sites

• Foster relationships with clients and enhance project outcomes

• Innovate through digital tools and practices

Requirements:

• Engineer-in-training, geoscientist-in-training, or eligible for accreditation

• 2-5 years of experience in environmental assessments

• Field experience in soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling

• Capacity for remote site visits and adaptability

• Valid Alberta driver’s license and strong writing skills
