Intermediate Wildlife Biologist in Alberta

Based in Calgary or Edmonton, you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team while championing wildlife mitigation efforts. This position calls for a proactive individual who will lead project planning, conduct habitat assessments, and prepare environmental assessments. You will also mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality deliverables across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife surveys and habitat assessments
• Prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance
• Collaborate in teams and work independently
• Mentor and coach junior staff members
• Lead data entry, analysis, and reports
Requirements:
• Degree in wildlife biology or related field
• Minimum 5 years of field work experience
• Strong knowledge of wildlife regulations
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
