Ozone Bio is a cleantech company developing sustainable, low-carbon routes to industrial chemicals, including bio-based adipic acid for polymers, textiles, and plastics. We combine biochemical, catalytic, and separation technologies to replace fossil-derived chemistry with environmentally superior processes.

We are seeking a Chemist to join our lab team working on bio-oil fractionation and upgrading and organic chemistry synthesis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fixed-bed reactors, organic synthesis, and characterization of complex organic mixtures.

• Operate and troubleshoot fixed-bed reactor systems
• Perform bio-oil fractionation, upgrading, and sample preparation
• Conduct organic synthesis, purification, and reaction optimization
• Prepare catalysts, solvents, and reaction mixtures
• Analyze samples using techniques such as GC-MS, HPLC or related methods

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry+minimum 5 years of industrial experience
• Experience with fixed-bed reactors or flow reactor systems
• Organic synthesis experience required
• Experience with biomass-derived chemicals, catalysis, or fuel upgrading is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
