In this dynamic role, you will lead interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement wildlife and aquatics management programs. With 15-20 years of experience in Environmental Science or Biology, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and foster stakeholder collaboration. Your expertise will enable safe operations through effective communication and practical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead diverse teams in wildlife and aquatics management
• Develop monitoring and mitigation programs tailored for mining
• Ensure compliance with reporting and permitting processes
• Manage wildlife research initiatives and stakeholder collaborations
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and professional development of junior staff
Requirements:
• 15-20 years of relevant experience in environmental management
• Degree in Environmental Science or Biology
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Registration as a Professional Biologist preferred
• Expertise in environmental regulations including AER and ECCC
