Your future role on our team

As a junior biologist or junior environmental professional, you’ll help with environmental project delivery in sectors such as energy, mining, infrastructure, commercial and private development. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of experienced professionals, you’ll support biophysical characterization, environmental impact studies and environmental permit applications.

  • Support project managers in preparing and executing mandates
  • Participate in environmental impact assessments and related studies
  • Assist with field surveys (flora, fauna, aquatic environments, soil and ecosystems)
  • Contribute to environmental permit and authorization applications
  • Help develop methodologies and sampling plans
  • Compile, enter and validate environmental data
  • Help draft technical reports (inventories, baseline studies, environmental assessments)
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental science or related field
  • From 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Interest or initial experience in field surveys (fauna, flora, aquatic environments, soils, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Asset: knowledge of ArcGIS
  • Asset: master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French), spoken and written
