As part of the Environmental Planning and Management Division, you’ll lead vital pre-development baseline assessments and monitor environmental conditions. Your key responsibilities include overseeing site observations, conducting regulatory submissions, and mentoring team members. This role emphasizes a safety-first attitude and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team across western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee regulatory compliance for baseline environmental projects
• Lead wildlife, vegetation, and aquatic assessments
• Report project status regularly, ensuring transparency
• Provide technical expertise in environmental surveys
• Prepare regulatory submissions in compliance with laws
Requirements:
• University degree in environmental science or biology
• Minimum 4 years of relevant consulting experience
• Familiarity with environmental regulations like the Water Act
• Experience on active construction sites
• Willingness to travel to remote locations
