Take a significant step in your career as an Intermediate Wildlife Biologist s role involves hands-on wildlife assessments, technical reporting, and mentorship in Alberta’s diverse ecosystems.
Based at our Calgary or Edmonton office, you will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team while conducting comprehensive wildlife surveys and contributing to project planning efforts. You’ll be involved in both office-based and field activities, emphasizing effective planning and data analysis while nurturing junior colleagues in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead wildlife surveys and habitat assessments
• Draft technical reports and assessments for projects
• Engage in team environments and foster independence
• Mentor junior staff and guide their development
• Perform data entry and analysis for project reporting
Requirements:
• Degree in wildlife biology or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• In-depth understanding of applicable regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Physical capability to manage fieldwork requirements
