Join Enmas as a Vegetation Ecologist in Calgary, Alberta, focusing on vegetation assessments and habitat conservation. This full-time role offers both fieldwork and analysis opportunities.
As a Vegetation Ecologist, you will conduct essential field surveys and support environmental impact assessments.
Your role will involve 70% fieldwork and 30% in-office data analysis. Candidates enthusiastic about plant communities and ecosystem management will thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct vegetation surveys and rare plant inventories
• Assess and monitor plant community health and diversity
• Evaluate environmental impacts on ecosystems
• Analyze data for conservation strategies
• Prepare regulatory documentation and technical reports
Requirements:
• Strong background in botany and ecological processes
• Experience in habitat assessments and vegetation surveys
• Familiarity with GIS mapping and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
