As a key member of the environmental team, you will perform all stages of environmental studies, including managing wildlife assessments and collaborating with clients and governmental agencies. Your expertise will guide engineering designs while you mentor junior staff and oversee compliance during project execution. You'll be responsible for coordinating fieldwork and ensuring regulatory adherence across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete environmental studies from proposal to reporting
• Coordinate field studies including wildlife surveys
• Assess project impacts and propose compliance solutions
• Oversee environmental management during construction
• Mentor and guide junior staff on key tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
• 5–10+ years of experience in Alberta’s environment sector
• Skilled in permitting and habitat assessments
• Proficiency in GIS and mobile data collection
• Ability to navigate challenging field conditions
