As a Senior Aquatic Biologist, you will deliver expert guidance on aquatic biology and permitting to advance complex natural resource projects. This full-time, office-based position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, overseeing comprehensive aquatic assessments, and mentoring biologists. Your leadership will shape project implementation by ensuring regulatory compliance and building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership on aquatic biology initiatives
• Mentor and coordinate a team of biologists
• Supervise project phases from design to operations
• Develop budgets and review technical deliverables
• Cultivate relationships with clients and regulatory authorities
Requirements:
•
B.Sc., M.Sc, or Doctorate in relevant studies
• Minimum of 10 years of aquatic biology experience
• Familiarity with the Federal Fisheries Act
• Experience in managing fieldwork in remote areas
• Strong skills in technical writing and evaluation
