Drive Canada’s fisheries initiatives with ERM as a Fisheries Biologist and Technical Leader on high-impact projects. Ensure ecological integrity while facilitating mining and energy engagements.
As a key figure in ERM’s Fisheries and Aquatics team, you will utilize over six years of environmental consulting experience to influence project planning and compliance. Your leadership will shape critical fisheries assessments and offset strategies, while also mentoring the next generation of fisheries professionals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement fisheries assessment programs
• Develop and monitor compensation strategies for aquatic ecosystems
• Draft detailed environmental assessments and permitting documents
• Ensure quality control on fisheries data collection
• Manage project budgets and client relationships
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology, Natural Resources, or similar
• 6+ years in environmental consulting necessary
• Registered Professional Biologist status preferred
• Proven ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
