Position: Environmental Scientist at Worley Consulting
Become a key player at Worley Consulting as an Environmental Scientist, focusing on contaminated site assessments in Calgary, Cold Lake, or Edmonton, AB. Engage in both field and office-based work to ensure responsible environmental management.

As an Associate Technical Consultant, you will lead environmental field programs while providing mentorship and technical support. This role requires a blend of hands-on field leadership and project management to oversee site restoration across Alberta, ensuring compliance with legal standards and Worley guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental field programs for site assessments

• Monitor surface water, groundwater, and soil sampling

• Plan and execute comprehensive Environmental Site Assessments

• Mentor junior team members in technical aspects

• Support Project Managers with various planning tasks

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline

• 7+ years of relevant field experience in site assessments

• Proven experience with Phase I and II ESAs in Alberta

• Strong knowledge of contaminated sites regulations

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and travel willingness
