Hatfield is seeking an experienced Ecotoxicologist to join its Environmental Monitoring and Assessment team. With a minimum of five years in toxicology, the ideal candidate will manage ecotoxicology studies and assessments related to mining and energy projects, among others. You will develop study designs, handle project budgets, and interpret data while contributing to significant environmental impact assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement ecotoxicology and risk assessment studies
• Manage project scheduling and budget tracking
• Coordinate with analytical chemistry and toxicology labs
• Oversee field investigations for aquatic habitats
• Compile and analyze project data and prepare reports
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in toxicology
• Graduate-level research in chemical fate and effects
• Knowledge of Canadian ecotoxicology protocols
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring programs
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
