Position: Environmental Monitor for AtkinsRéalis
Drive environmental compliance with AtkinsRéalis as an Environmental Monitor in Calgary. Contribute to project obligations, on-site inspections, and environmental monitoring tasks while ensuring regulatory standards are met.

As part of the Environmental Assessment Community Engagement team, you will perform a variety of essential functions. Your focus will be on environmental risk assessments, drafting monitoring reports, and collaborating with on-site personnel to uphold environmental policies. With a minimum of 7 years of experience, you will lead field inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with Canadian environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete project environmental obligations and deliverables

• Conduct inspections and maintain documentation accurately

• Train site personnel on environmental protocols

• Support planning and execution of risk assessments

• Ensure quality work across environmental monitoring tasks

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering

• Minimum 7 years in environmental management

• Proven fieldwork and auditing experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian regulations

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
