As a Managing Technical Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in driving fisheries programs that align with major mining and energy initiatives. This full-time, one-year fixed-term role is based in key Canadian cities, allowing for flexible hybrid work. Your expertise will influence environmental strategies on national and global scales, enhancing sustainability at critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead aquaculture and fisheries programs across Canada
• Support fisheries offsetting planning and execution
• Analyze and interpret fish habitat and community data
• Prepare technical documents and impact assessments
• Mentor junior biologists and field personnel
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or equivalent
• 4+ years of consulting experience in aquatic biology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant federal and provincial regulations
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for travel
Drive positive ecological outcomes and contribute to major consultative efforts with ERM in the fisheries field.
