WSP's Prairies and North Earth & Environment team is seeking a Water Quality Modeller to strengthen their capabilities in water quality modelling. In this technical role, you will work alongside scientists to apply surface water quality models and support environmental stewardship projects. Your work will significantly impact assessing environmental effects and informing regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply surface water quality models to assess project impacts

• Develop, calibrate, and use numerical water quality models

• Collaborate on multidisciplinary environmental assessments

• Analyze complex datasets to inform modelling outcomes

• Prepare technical reports and visualizations for clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in water quality assessment

• Proficient with modeling software (e.g., Gold Sim, WASP)

• Strong data analysis skills using Python, R, or Excel

• Excellent technical writing and collaboration abilities
