As a Principal Technical Consultant and Fisheries Biologist at ERM, you will provide senior technical leadership in addressing complex environmental challenges.
Your role involves overseeing fisheries assessments and offsetting programs necessary for large-scale projects, particularly in remote areas. Collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary experts while mentoring budding fisheries professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fish habitat field program design across Canada
• Develop and monitor fisheries offsetting compensation programs
• Draft and review environmental assessments and permitting documents
• Provide quality control for fisheries data collection and analysis
• Lead field activities for complex fisheries projects
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Fisheries Biology or related field
• 6+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Field experience in fish habitat assessment
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork in remote areas
