A strong foundation in wildlife biology, vegetation, or aquatic biology will be critical in fulfilling regulatory compliance and mitigation requirements. You will need to collaborate effectively with regulatory agencies and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute environmental desktop research
• Conduct and coordinate biological field surveys
• Assist in environmental monitoring during construction
• Develop technical reports confirming data quality
• Help resolve non-compliance environmental issues
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in biological sciences
• Minimum 5 years of experience in biological studies
• Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation
• Strong data management and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a good record
