As part of Strathcona’s team, you will lead the planning and execution of site closures, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Your role will involve managing interactions between various contractors and stakeholders, focusing on efficient project delivery and detailed reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop site closure strategies that integrate multiple project elements
• Manage assessment and remediation of contaminated sites
• Coordinate effectively with environmental consultants and teams
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are monitored closely
• Provide technical guidance and maintain audit-ready documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or similar
• At least 10 years in environmental project management
• Strong understanding of Alberta’s environmental legislation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in relevant software tools for project management
