Candidates should possess deep experience in environmental consulting, managing project budgets, timelines, and client relationships within BC's regulatory landscape. This position requires an understanding of the commercial aspects of consulting while delivering high-quality ecological studies. You will work closely with provincial agencies, municipalities, and various sectors, enhancing PRI's reputation in environmental consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead consulting projects, managing budgets and schedules
• Design and oversee field studies related to ecology
• Prepare technical reports compliant with environmental legislation
• Build client and community relationships for project success
• Mentor junior biologists in consulting practices
Requirements:
• Registered Professional Biologist status or eligible for BC registration
• Minimum 10 years in environmental consulting
• Expertise in BC’s regulatory frameworks
• Strong background in terrestrial and wildlife ecology
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions
