In this senior role, you will spearhead seismic data interpretation, reservoir assessments, and support key Measurement, Monitoring, and Verification responsibilities. Your collaboration with diverse teams will be essential to developing effective injection strategies and compliance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee 2D and 3D seismic data processing for CCS sites
• Coordinate with engineering and geology experts for project success
• Implement and lead monitoring programs for seismic activity
• Develop compliance plans for government regulations
• Conduct seismic hazard and risk analyses to ensure safety
Requirements:
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Geophysics or similar
• More than 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong technical skills in seismic analysis software
• Comprehensive understanding of Alberta’s regulatory landscape
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
