Position: Senior Ecologist for Vegetation Management
Advance your career as a Senior Ecologist specializing in vegetation management with Onterris in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta. This position focuses on ecological assessments and field investigations.

In this role, you will be part of our Western Terrestrial Services Team, working primarily in the office (80%) with occasional field visits (20%). Your expertise in vegetation and wetland ecology will support project development, mentor junior staff, and enhance client relations, driving environmental excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior technical input on ecological assessments

• Manage wetland evaluations and environmental impact studies

• Mentor and develop junior staff in project settings

• Design ecological investigations and execute field surveys

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years in a related consulting role

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant environmental field

• Registered professional in academia or related organization

• Strong project management and report writing skills

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
