As an Ecological Technician, you will support environmental assessment programs and play a vital role in collecting and analyzing ecological data for upstream oil and gas developments. You're expected to perform field surveys and assist in preparing technical documentation to meet local environmental regulations. Prior hands-on experience in ecological field programs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ecological assessments of soil, groundwater, and vegetation
• Assist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
• Monitor air, water, and soil quality for compliance
• Collect and document environmental data accurately
• Support reclamation projects and site inspections
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in relevant environmental field
• At least 3 years of relevant field experience
• Knowledge of ecological data interpretation
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Safety certifications such as H₂S Alive are assets
