As an Environmental Assessment Technician, your primary focus will be to conduct field surveys, collect and analyze environmental data, and support various reclamation initiatives. You will also assist in performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and preparing accurate technical reports. Strong communication and documentation skills will be key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ecological assessments and field investigations
• Monitor and document air, soil, and water quality
• Conduct Phase I and II Site Assessments as required
• Support reclamation and remediation work in the field
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documents
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in relevant environmental field
• Minimum 3 years of environmental or ecological experience
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
Contribute to meaningful environmental projects with Keneco in Calgary as an Environmental Assessment Technician.
