In this regular role, you will be collaborating with project managers and leading aquatic monitoring programs. You will also assist in preparing proposals, conducting fish habitat assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fish and habitat assessments and related studies
• Lead long-term aquatic monitoring programs in the field
• Develop sampling plans and ensure accurate data entry
• Draft reports and assessments for government submissions
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in an environment-related field
• 3 to 7 years of experience in environmental projects
• Professional designation or eligibility for one in Alberta
• Experience with field surveys and electrofishing
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and R programming
