This role supports the Environmental Division's growth by requiring strong leadership in the field and proficiency in environmental data collection. You will work on various projects including pipelines and infrastructure across Central to Northern Alberta, adapting to ever-changing work conditions and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct construction monitoring and ecological assessments
• Lead and train field crews on data collection methods
• Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed
• Operate light-duty trucks and field navigation tools
• Complete timely reporting and data management tasks
Requirements:
• Professional Biologist designation or near completion
• 5-9 years of relevant field experience
• Electrofishing certification required
• Strong liaison and decision-making capabilities
• High level of physical fitness for outdoor work
