This role involves leading a dedicated project team within WSP’s RPM group. You will manage complex assessments and be responsible for the design and execution of fieldwork associated with hydrocarbons and other contaminants. Collaboration is key as you contribute to our mission of environmentally sound site management while advising clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project teams in environmental assessments and remediation
• Review and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Develop proposals and budgets for ongoing projects
• Train junior staff on environmental practices and site safety
• Manage client communications and expectations
Requirements:
• Degree in a related field such as sciences or engineering
• At least 8 years’ experience in site assessments
• Understanding of Alberta and Saskatchewan regulations
• Experience in financial management and budgeting
• Previous engagement in oil and gas projects is beneficial
