This position calls for a skilled technician to implement environmental monitoring programs and contribute to various ecological assessments for oil and gas developments. You will participate in data collection, field investigations, and prepare technical reports that comply with environmental guidelines. Ideal candidates will have prior hands-on experience in ecological fieldwork with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for soil, water, and vegetation
• Assist in Environmental Site Assessments and regulatory submissions
• Collect samples and monitor environmental parameters
• Document field activities and support reclamation tasks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Environmental Science or technology
• Minimum of 3 years' field experience preferred
• Ability to analyze ecological and environmental data
• Valid Class 5 driver's license essential
• Familiarity with safety certifications is a plus
Support environmental sustainability while collaborating with the Keneco team in Calgary with your expertise in ecological practices.
