Position: Senior Aquatic Biologist at Clifton
Become an integral part of Clifton's environmental consultancy as a Senior Aquatic Biologist in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, or Edmonton. Provide project management and mentoring to junior biologists while ensuring compliance and conducting aquatic investigations.

Clifton is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Aquatic Biologist with strong expertise in environmental consulting. You will manage projects, guide regulatory submissions, and mentor junior professionals across our environmental practice team. Support our mission of innovation and best practices in aquatic biology while achieving meaningful solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fish and habitat investigations and regulatory submissions

• Manage projects, budgets, deadlines, and subcontractors

• Mentor junior biology professionals to enhance their skills

• Build and maintain positive client relationships

• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Environment

• 5-10 years of environmental consulting experience

• Eligible for Professional Biologist registration in Alberta or BC

• Experience in species detection and assessments

• Strong organizational and communication skills
