RPS is seeking experienced Wellsite Geologists to enhance our client operations in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. This contract position invites experts in geosteering and formation evaluation, ready to work on exciting projects. Candidates with experience in the Mannville Group heavy oil formations and proficiency with Star Steer will find distinct advantages in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute exceptional sample petrography and wellbore placement
• Analyze formation evaluation and petrophysical data
• Drill horizontal wells in designated heavy oil formations
• Utilize Star Steer for remote and field-based projects
• Collaborate closely with the management team to achieve client goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology required
• Proven experience in drilling environments
• Expertise in petroleum engineering favored
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Commitment to the highest safety standards
