Position: Junior Environmental Technician for Stantec
Join Stantec's team as a Junior Environmental Technician, supporting significant environmental initiatives in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This position provides field experience and professional growth.

Stantec is building a talent pool for its upcoming environmental project starting in Q4 2026. Individuals passionate about environmental consulting and fieldwork are encouraged to apply, especially those with less than 3 years of experience. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering quality projects while working in a remote camp setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with field investigations and monitoring

• Engage in soil testing and geotechnical assessments

• Maintain accurate records and field data

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

• Uphold safety standards throughout tasks

Requirements:

• Relevant technical diploma or degree

• Experience with field programs is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Valid Alberta driver’s license required

• Willingness to work in a fly-in/fly-out environment
