Join AtkinsRéalis as an Intermediate Environmental Scientist in Calgary, AB, and play a vital role in site assessments and project execution while benefit ting from outstanding mentorship.
This role involves a mix of field and office responsibilities, including execution of environmental site assessments and remedial excavations. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, assist in managing project schedules and budgets, and guide junior employees through technical tasks while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct groundwater monitoring and soil sampling tasks
• Supervise both field programs and junior staff members
• Assist project managers with technical execution and budgeting
• Prepare proposals and assist in stakeholder communication
• Draft and facilitate site assessment reports
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant project experience
• Strong technical skills in environmental assessments
• Ability to travel and work in Western Canada
• Clean Class 5 Full driver's license required
