This role offers a unique opportunity for geology students or recent graduates to work on exploration and mining projects. You’ll collaborate with experienced geologists, gaining hands-on training in core description, geological software, and 3D modeling. Both Calgary and Fort McMurray locations are available, with flexible term lengths.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze geological data and interpret subsurface formations
• Prepare mapping and cross-sections for development programs
• Review core descriptions to enhance rock unit understanding
• Support drilling program planning and preparation
• Communicate geological findings effectively to the team
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Geology program or recent graduate
• Physically fit for work in demanding environments
• Motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license, where required
• Pass pre-employment drug screening, if applicable
