Shape Alberta's energy future as an Environmental Project Manager with WSP. This role emphasizes environmental stewardship and project leadership in oil sands projects from planning to execution.
As part of WSP's Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting team, you'll lead significant oil sands and energy client projects. Expect to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, all while ensuring compliance with Alberta's environmental regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, integrated environmental solutions while building relationships with stakeholders, including Indigenous communities and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental and regulatory projects for oil sands clients
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver integrated solutions
• Guide assessment and permitting activities for operations
• Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
• 7 to 12 years of environmental consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of Alberta’s regulatory framework
• Proven ability in budget and risk management
• Excellent communication and client management skills
