This internship is designed for geology students eager to gain field experience. You will work closely with seasoned geologists, contributing to mapping, core analysis, and various exploration tasks. Positions are available at either Calgary or Fort McMurray, with term lengths of 4 to 8 months starting January, May, or September 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct geological data analysis for projects
• Create interpretations and regional maps
• Describe cores to aid geological understanding
• Participate in team efforts for government applications
• Present findings during project reviews
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Geology
• Self-motivated and adaptable in team environments
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role
• Clean driver abstract and valid license where needed
• Successful completion of drug screening if required
