Provide expert groundwater leadership as a Senior Hydrogeologist focused on Western Canadian in situ oil sands operations. Tackle complex hydrogeological challenges and collaborate with diverse multidisciplinary teams.
This role calls for an experienced Hydrogeologist with a strong background in groundwater risk management and environmental compliance. Candidates must possess advanced skills in groundwater monitoring and technical report writing, focusing on large-scale operations. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring regulatory adherence and environmental stewardship throughout various hydrogeological programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess groundwater risks in drilling operations
• Design and implement groundwater monitoring programs
• Lead groundwater contamination assessments and investigations
• Evaluate hydrochemical and isotopic data
• Support groundwater supply system operations
Requirements:
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
• Professional designation (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience
• Strong knowledge of Alberta environmental regulations
