Lead Fence Installer – Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.
Lead Fence Installer – join our team to deliver, install, and remove temporary fence solutions across job sites.
Responsibilities- Deliver and install temporary fence components to job sites safely and on schedule.
- Act as the onsite lead hand, supervising crew, coordinating tasks, and ensuring quality work.
- Set up and tear down fence installations, following safety and company procedures.
- Complete required paperwork: job reports, truck inventory logs, and site checklists.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, the Operations Manager, and the Operations team.
- Operate a forklift (certification provided) and navigate to sites for efficient crew assembly.
- Maintain high customer service standards, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager and participate in daily briefings.
- Experience driving a one‑tonne truck delivering materials safely to job sites.
- Background supervising crews and acting as a lead hand on site.
- Knowledge of setting up and dismantling fence systems.
- Experience completing operational paperwork such as job reports, logs, and checklists.
- Understanding of Sunbelt’s key products and ability to address customer issues.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work weekends or longer hours when needed.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s abstract and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy fence panels.
- Excellent navigation skills to reach job sites efficiently.
- Own transportation required.
- Defensive driving habits.
- Comfortable using tablets and smartphones for documentation.
- Familiarity with general tools and equipment such as drills, power washers, and banding tools is a plus.

Requirement for bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work both indoors and outdoors as required.
