Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our operations team. In this role, you will operate reach forklifts and order picker forklifts to efficiently pick and handle orders. The position requires consistent heavy lifting of items, some weighing up to 80 lbs, as well as loading and unloading trailers using a sit-down forklift.

• Operate reach and order picker forklifts to pick and handle orders.
• Consistently lift heavy items, up to 80 lbs, during order picking.
• Load and unload trailers using a sit-down forklift.
• Perform manual tasks for approximately 70% of the time.
• Maintain communication with clients through emails using Microsoft Office.
• Exhibit a proactive and motivated attitude to address tasks beyond the typical job description.

• Minimum of 6 months experience with sit-down forklifts, preferably Yale brand with regular steering.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with order picker forklifts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for client communication.

• Fall arrest certification is a nice to have.

This position is based in a flooring warehouse with a small, growing team of about four people. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
