The Position: Utility Tree Trimmer (UTT)
Type: Full-time
Reports To: General Foreperson

Shifts:

Trim, prune, and remove trees or branches that pose a risk to utility infrastructureUse industry-standard techniques to safely remove trees without causing damageOperate equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, aerial lifts, chipper trucks, and cranesTrain and supervise crew members in safe practices around high-voltage equipmentMaintain accurate records of vegetation management activitiesDocument completed work for utility or regulatory complianceEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and protect nearby habitatsPerform other duties as requiredExperience and Knowledge Expectations:
Utility Tree Trimmer Certification.Valid Class 5 drivers’ license, with air endorsement or willingness to obtain.Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.Current First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather and environmental conditions.Questions?
