Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters with Doka Formwork experience for work at our Compost project in Calgary, AB.

  Monday - Friday

• Finishing with hanging steel doors and grout work
• Assemble and install Doka formwork systems including Framax Xlife, Dokaflex, and Top 50 for walls, columns, slabs, and cores
• Installation, modification, and maintenance of temporary hoardings, ensuring they meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

• H2S Awareness
• ESC Fall Protection
• Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry
• Experience with Doka forms on commercial construction sites, including temporary enclosures, security barriers, and partitions
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Doka formwork systems on commercial or infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret Doka layout drawings and assembly instructions
• Familiarity with fall protection and engineered lift plans related to Doka setups
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
