Position: Experienced Fire Alarm Technician Needed
Convergint is hiring a full-time Fire Alarm Technician in Calgary to provide expert service and customer support for fire alarm systems. Utilize your technical and troubleshooting skills daily.

In this essential role at Convergint, you will focus on testing, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm systems. You will also mentor new employees, ensuring they gain the knowledge needed to succeed. Key Responsibilities:

• Test and service fire alarm systems and equipment

• Resolve complex issues during service calls

• Mentor junior technicians in installations and repairs

• Report project statuses to management regularly

• Conduct system start-ups and programming

Requirements:

• Degree in electronic technologies is advantageous

• At least two years of experience in commercial fire alarms

• Familiarity with Edwards products preferred

• Proficient in programming and technical troubleshooting

• EST-3/3X and/or EST-4 certifications are beneficial
