Become an integral part of ATCO Structures & Logistics as a Registered Apprentice Carpenter at our Calgary Manufacturing Plant. This hands-on role focuses on crafting and installing wood structures, while adhering to strict safety protocols and building regulations.
We seek an Apprentice Carpenter (Framer) who is eager to assist skilled professionals in constructing, repairing, and remodeling diverse wood structures. Experience in framing and the capacity to interpret blueprints are essential for success in this union-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and frame new structures in residential projects
• Complete installation of doors, cabinets, and flooring
• Interpret and follow blueprints for construction projects
• Select materials and measure for accurate construction
• Maintain compliance with local and national building codes
Requirements:
• Previous experience in carpentry, especially framing
• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Team-oriented work ethics in construction projects
• Commitment to safety practices on-site
• Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and development
